Band knife machine R500

Rexel R500 band knife machine is an easy-to-use and highly efficient equipment. It allows to cut textile and foam (cotton, knitted fabrics, synthetic fabrics, insulation, etc.) with high precision and efficiency. This band knife machine can cut many fabric layers with thickness up to 22 cm. This band saw can be used as a standalone cutting workstation or with a Rexel SK-3 cutting table.

The band knife machine Rexel R500 is equipped with a sharpening device, which provides with high quality sharpening while making sure that the blade is worn off minimally during the sharpening process. This machine has an option that allows to control the speed of the blade, which enables the user to pick the best cutting speed for certain materials.

The machine is equipped with a blade detector and catcher that combine into a safety system and stop the machine and the blade in case the band breaks. Visibility in workplace is very important, so the device is equipped with a built-in lamp with a separate switch. The airflow can be turned on and off, and when it is turned on, it creates an air cushion that makes it easier to move the pieces on the tabletop.
